UNO in Bed

Since summer began, my boys have been playing UNO at bedtime.

The first night I got onto them and told them to get in their own beds, but later I let them play. They were going to have a sleepover, but it got too crowded and Alex was falling in between the bed and the wall, so he had to get back on the top bunk.

The second night, I told them at 9:25 they had to stop playing at 10pm and go to sleep in their own beds. It is so cute! They have been using their headlights from Christmas and hooking them onto the bed slats for light and then playing UNO quietly until they are tired.

They are the best of friends and I love to listen at their door at night. They say the funniest stuff! I love that they play so good together all the time and that they have each other.

I would always recommend having kids this close together (26 months apart). I pray that Zac has someone, like Alex and Parker have each other.

Thank you to my best friend's husband

I just want to take some time out and remember our soldiers. New and old, thank you for my freedom!

Thank you Jeremy, who is serving in Iraq right now. My family keeps you in their prayers every night! We pray for your safety, and for your wife and son who are here waiting for your return.

We have a Wii game night all ready for when you get back!

Here are a few pictures of my friend during Wii game night, a few days before he left.

Alex rides a Bike!!!

Yea for Alex! He rode a bike, (without training wheels), for the first time on the last day of school, May 22. I am so proud, and so is he. He is a pro now. I hardly had to do anything. He basically just hopped on and started riding, just like Parker.

I remember when I rode a bike for the first time. I was so scared and probably several years older. It seemed so hard to me when I did it. My boys make it look so easy! I had to get my bike out and we have been riding so much, my butt hurts. Now, Aaron has to go with them, so I can recover! It really is fun though. I would love to ride it all the time, (as long as I use a pillow under my seat), Ha Ha.
